“Anawangin” the Hidden Paradise located in Zambales. It is a crystal beach far from Pundaquit in the town of San Antonio in Zambales. Serene, calm, quiet, beauty, peaceful, it is not your ordinary beach resorts though. You have to bring your own tent for accommodation, cook your own meal on a portable gas range if you want to come to enjoy the beach and scenery with your family and friends.

To get there you have to ride a banca from Pundaquit, it’s about 30 minutes trip. You need to bring your own tent, foods and other stuffs because this is a virgin beach surrounded by mountains with small hot river/lake. No celfone signal either. This beach is at par with beaches in Boracay, crystal clear water, white sand, very calm, many pine trees and far from allowed human habitat.

It was managed by a certain NGO so there is an entrance fee to the beach. Bancas are available from Pundaquit at P700 to P1000 per back and forth trip. Prices are higher during Holy Week.

Please visit Luzon’s hidden paradise at Anawangin, Talisayen, Nagsasa, Salanguen, & Lanse beach and Capones Island are good camping area suggested location for vacation, it is beautiful like Boracay!
